Proposed $30 billion cuts to SNAP could increase food insecurity in New York

CAPITAL REGION, NY (WRGB) — More than 41 million Americans rely on federal food assistance programs to put meals on the table every day.
That support could be in jeopardy as Congress starts negotiating the farm bill, every five years the bill is reviewed and looks over agriculture and food policies.
