- Housing Access Voucher Program (A.1704/S.72)
- Provide a statewide rental assistance voucher for New Yorkers struggling to afford housing.
- Ensure One Fair Wage
- Phase out subminimum wages for all tipped workers.
- Guarantee health coverage (A.1710/S.3762)
- Guarantee health coverage for all uninsured New Yorkers, including the over 154,000 individuals excluded solely on the basis of their immigration status.
- Support Gate Money Program (A.193)
- Provide increased and sustained support for New Yorkers re-entering society after a period of incarceration.
- Establish Working Families Tax Credit (A.3474/S.2082)
- Strengthen the state’s existing Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit, introduce quarterly payments, and expand the credit to include Individual Tax Identification Number (ITINs) filers.
- Support values-based food procurement
- Enable municipal institutions to adopt values-based food procurement, which would allow for the consideration of local food producers, environmental sustainability, labor standards, nutritional value, animal welfare, and racial equity in procurement law.
- Support universal childcare
- Expand access to menstrual products, hygiene and personal care items for SNAP and WIC participants.
- Expand access to personal care products
- Expand access to menstrual products, hygiene and personal care items for SNAP and WIC participants.
- Study New York’s true cost of living
- Create a state- commissioned task force to study the true cost of living in New York State.
